1. Admission to all RCC Health 科学 programs is a 有竞争力的 过程. Applicants are evaluated based upon the following factors: academic performance, 推荐信和学位.
2. 申请人必须持有 GPA 3.0 or greater in the 实际的护理 general education courses by the published deadline date for submitting complete program checklists to the 澳门游戏app下载 Office. Applicants not meeting the cumulative GPA requirements will not be reviewed by the program area for admission. For the 实际的护理 Program, the GPA calculation will be based upon grades earned in the following courses: BIO 168, BIO 169, ENG 111, PSY 150.
3. A point system is followed to evaluate health 科学 program applications. Applicants earn points based upon academic performance, 推荐信和学位. Point distribution is outlined on the program checklist.
4. Complete the Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS). Points will be distributed as outlined in the tea要点表.  Additional study materials and practice tests can be accessed at http://www.mometrix.com/academy/teas-test/. The minimum TEAS score required for admission to the program is 50.
5. Complete the Health 科学 Admission Checklist packet by the specific deadline. Official 实际的护理 Admission Checklists may be printed from the Application tab on the 实际的护理 webpage.
6. Students must be able to fulfill all essential functions as outlined in the health 科学s admission policy.
7. Provisionally accepted students must submit a criminal background check, drug screening and medical review/screen to include physical examination and immunizations. All fees 联系d with the criminal background check, drug screen and medical review will be the responsibility of the student.
8. Provisionally accepted students previously enrolled in any other Nursing programs must submit a letter from the program director.
9. It is the student’s responsibility to review all program materials and to stay current with the program requirements, 政策和程序.

A full-time student can typically complete one of these programs within two years. All two-year degree programs at RCC comply with the program standards established by the North Carolina Community College System (NCCCS). In addition to major course work, 联系 in 应用 科学 degree programs require a minimum of 15 semester hour credits of general education.
